Starting a Cadet Core might seem complicated at first sight, but we have gone to great lengths to make everything easy for you! It breaks down to 4 phases. And we have resources for you to use at every phase!

Phase 1: Planning

In this phase, you gather all the necessary information to make an informed decision on program needs.
Phase 1 Checklist:
Will your program be during school as an elective or after school as a club?
Is the teacher selected (you only need 1 teacher!)? (former military, police, or firefighter is great but not required)
Do you have a good course code for all 4 years? We prefer board approved local electives but other course codes may work.
Are you doing a purchase order (public schools) or making a direct purchase (private schools)?
Will you use our student interest survey to gather student interest?
Will you use our Cadet Core Introduction presentation (highly recommended) to gather student interest?
Will you use our brochure to promote the program to your campus?
